Sunrise Little League Annual Meeting & Election for the 2018 Board

Good evening Sunrise Little League Members,

Our annual membership meeting (picnic) to hold the upcoming election for the 2018 board is Saturday, June 3. We are currently taking nominations and names of interested people who would like to run for an office. We also need at least 10% of our membership to vote at our annual meeting. General Membership includes all board members (elected & nominated), managers & official coaches and any person that filled out the annual membership form by May 1, 2017.

If you are interested in being on the ballot for any position, the deadline is May 30. Please contact Colleen Guidi to add your name to the ballot. To be clear, each office will list those names that have expressed interest by May 30 as well as a blank line for any additional write ins. The positions that will be voted on are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Player Agent, Treasurer, and Junior Vice President. All other board positions are done by appointment in October.

If you are unable to attend the meeting Saturday, June 3 to vote and still wish to participate, you may vote by absentee ballot. You just need to make arrangements with Colleen Guidi and get your absentee ballot in by Friday, June 2, 2017.

Thank you for your continued support of Sunrise Little League. We are a very large, diverse group and our annual election is a great way to have all voices heard. 
